A decade or so ago, two friends - Mitra and Stefan - started a small school for Argentine tango in sunny Mar Vista, CA. Time passed, OxygenTango grew, and my friends invited me to photograph their events and celebrations.
As I was processing hundreds of photos of Tango dancers, I started recognizing a quality of presence that I hadn't seen anywhere else. An experience I could not resist. Something I could only know by dancing.
